Gym406 hosts one of the top girls competitive teams in the state of Montana, along with a host of experienced coaching staff. Gym406 competes levels 2-10 and girls Xcel. In the last 40 years Gym406 has qualified many women to the USA Gymnastics JO Western and National Championships. We follow the USA Gymnastics guidelines for compulsory and optional levels.
To become a member of the Gym406 team you must have completed a Level 2 girls gymnastics class and received the permission of our coaching staff. The girls team practice 3-4 days a week 2-3 hours per day.
Gym406 Girls Xcel (introductory team)
Competitive levels: Bronze to Platinum. The level system is unique to this program and goes as follows:
Each gymnast can create their own routines for bars, beam, floor and vault based upon their individual level skill requirements defined by USGA guidelines.

Gym406 Women’s Compulsory USAG (by tryout only)
Competitive Levels: 3-6. Women’s Compulsory gymnasts compete at levels 1 thru 5.
Each gymnast is assigned a predefined routine for Bars, Beam, Floor and Vault based on current USGA guidelines, which are completed by all compulsory gymnasts throughout the United States. Gym406 compulsory gymnasts compete at the state level.
Gym406 Women’s Optional USAG
Competitive Levels: 6-10. Women’s Optional gymnasts compete at levels 6 thru 10.
Each gymnast can create their own routines for bars, beam, floor and vault based upon their individual level skill requirements defined by USAG guidelines. Gym406 optional gymnasts compete at the state, regional, and national level.
Fees are based upon the numbers of days attending and the competitive level. Gym406 uses an inclusive fee structure which includes training, competition, coaches travel and organizational fees all in one. For current team workout schedules and fees please see the registration and schedule portal.
